Pingel · last updated 3 October 2026

Pingel is a sideline scoring app for amateur football. Team, match and season data live on your phone by default. We receive the data you deliberately share, and usage statistics that are not linked to you.

What stays on your device

Squad names, kit colours, match events, history and settings are stored in the app’s local storage and the system Keychain for share tokens. That data is not sent anywhere unless you use a sharing feature.

What we receive when you share

Shared data is held on servers operated for Pingel at live.pingel.app (Cloudflare). There are no Pingel user accounts on the server; access uses tokens minted by the app.

Usage statistics

The app reports how it is used to Google Analytics for Firebase: which screens are opened, which features are used, and whether syncing worked. This tells us what to fix and what to build next.

Google processes this data on our behalf, possibly on servers outside the EU, and it is kept for 14 months. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the app working and improving it. To have the statistics from your phone deleted, email support@pingel.app.

What we do not collect

We do not run advertising SDKs, read your advertising identifier or sell personal data. The app does not ask for your email or phone number to use the core features.

Camera

The camera is used only when you scan a team invite QR code. Images are not uploaded.
